Aigoco VPN privacy policy · Updated October 9, 2026
Who makes the app
Aigoco VPN is made by AIGOCO Tech Platforms FZE LLC, licence no. 4432170.01, Business Center, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This policy describes the current Mac app.
No app analytics or advertising
Aigoco VPN collects no analytics and includes no advertising SDK. It does not upload your profiles, credentials, connection history or browsing activity to AIGOCO. You do not need an AIGOCO account to use it.
What stays on your Mac
Imported profiles, which can contain certificates and private keys, are stored using macOS Keychain. Optional saved credentials also use Keychain. Profile names, connection metadata and preferences are stored locally. Live connection statistics are displayed in the app. Activity diagnostics contain connection status events; passwords, private keys and full profile contents are excluded.
Your VPN server
When you connect, the app contacts the VPN server specified by your profile and authenticates using that profile’s method. The server operator can receive your connecting IP address, authentication information and the traffic routed through the tunnel. Its policies apply to that traffic. AIGOCO does not operate or choose that server for you.
Your VPN configuration determines which routes and DNS requests use the tunnel. Some configurations route only private-network traffic. The app does not promise anonymity, a kill switch or that all traffic is routed through the VPN.
Permissions
macOS asks you to approve a network extension and VPN configuration so the app can establish the tunnel. The file picker gives access to the profile you select. Launch at login is optional and can be changed in Settings.
Your controls
You can disconnect at any time, remove imported profiles and saved credentials from the app, or quit and uninstall it. Original .ovpn files outside the app are not deleted when you remove an imported profile. Uninstalling alone may leave local preferences or Keychain items.
Support and website visits
If you email us, we receive what you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not include credentials or private keys. Website visits and support enquiries are covered by the AIGOCO website privacy policy, including the website’s Google Analytics. Website analytics are separate from the VPN app.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the app’s data handling changes. For privacy questions, contact hello@aigoco.com.
